G. Computers) and  Dave and Julia Hunter (The Speedy Sparky) for the purpose of supplying Wireless and Satellite broadband services to the people of the South Island.   Rivernet’s Broadband Plans:   We have many options available and we will discuss and tailor the best broadband package to suit your individual needs. If you are new to broadband, or are a light user, then our basic plan will be the best for you. Our 1G plan allows you to check your e-mails a lot quicker than on dial-up and you can surf the net at high speed. If you are a frequent user of the internet then one of Rivernet’s larger plans would be more suitable.   Plans start from $59.95 plus g.s.t. for 256k download, and al plans include a minimum of 1GB (1000mb) of data.   We are keen to structure plans to you specific requirements, please ask for details.       Glenn Hutton:   Glenn comes to Rivernet with over 22 years experience as a Telecommunications Core Network technician, specialising in computerised equipment installation and maintenance. Glenn is a registered NZQA telecommunications assessor and has a Level 4 National Certificate in telecommunications (advanced trade cert).      Dave and Glenn can talk you through which plan best suits your requirements.  They can advise you on security for your computer and how to limit what children view and access over the internet.    Dave Hunter:   Dave is a fully registered electrician with over 20 years experience of working in the electrical industry. Dave’s work history varies from small household jobs to total process control units  at British American Tobacco’s factory in Southampton, UK.
